Phaenom Footwear, the latest from Full Stack Supply Co, parent of Faction Skis and United Shapes, will debut at retail globally in fall 2024. The company booked pre-season orders to fill 200-plus retail doors across 125 key accounts, including:

The initial ski boot range includes the fs (Freestyle) and fr (Freeride), emphasizing original boot molds, patent-pending technology and design- and circularity-based ethos. Manufactured in Montebelluna, Italy and engineered for freeski performance, Phaenom “differentiators” include:

  • Hybrid Cabrio x Overlap Boot with a two-buckle design
  • The patent-pending phaenom strap provides rebound, shock absorption and flex control from one recyclable material.
  • The all-black design supports “restoration and reuse of the boot and its parts,” with all elements of the boot’s construction designed to be repairable and recyclable.

The fs collection includes four models designed “to achieve flex perfection and shock absorption whether buttering rollers or stomping landings in the park.” The fr family also features four models, “nearly identical to the fs models yet differentiated primarily by the walk mode and tech inserts, and engineered to be efficient on the way up and dependable at full speed going down.”

“We believe technical footwear should be simple and modern,” said Daniel Tanzer, head of hardgoods at Full Stack Supply Co. Our team, a cohort of footwear experts in Innsbruck, Verbier, Paris, Montebelluna, and Asia, combined deep experience with new development techniques and materials to bring a fresh approach to ski footwear. We share a mission to accelerate the transition to sustainable processes, materials and circularity within the outdoor footwear industry without ever sacrificing performance and style. We are a Certified B Corp and proud 1% for the Planet partner from day one. Sustainability is at our core.”

Full Stack Supply Co. CEO Alex Hoye shared, “Foremost, we are thrilled that our industry-exclusive Hybrid Cabrio x Overlap Boot has delivered on a vision of fantastic performance in ankle and heel grip with comfort for a broad range of skiers. The results are above our expectations—with FIS World Cup Silver and a Jib League Championship recently secured—but most of all, our retail partner and athlete testers tell us that the design is a game-changer.

“A two-buckle boot with our patent pending Phaneom strap makes a mark in form and function. It also means we can make the only fully recyclable boot on the market with the most recycled content.

“We’re working closely with our global retail partners to deliver a strong launch in the fall, emphasizing brand awareness, training and education, in-store excellence, and athlete engagement to drive strong sell-through and build community,” concluded Hoye.
