We like using the MeteoEarth weather app for iPad to view what’s happening with the weather. Using that we created this video showing what we expect the weather to do over the alps for the next 5 days.
The background colour indicates temperature, green is milder, through darker blues to almost white for the coldest areas. Precipitation/snow is shown as the white-grey overlay, with the darker the grey, the heavier the snow, and yellow for the heaviest falls.
The moving dots indicate wind strength and direction.
